The Edward R. and Anne G. Lefler Center for the Study of Neurodegenerative Disease was established at Harvard Medical School in May of 1995. The Lefler Center has since served as a nexus for researchers dedicated to identifying a cure for Alzheimer’s and other devastating diseases of the nervous system. The Lefler endowment supports faculty, postdoctoral fellows and predoctoral students conducting innovating research to shed light on neurogenesis, neurodegeneration and neurological disease. To date, over 150 awards have been made.
